Gingrich: A Comeback Like Kansas?

Newt Gingrich said he will continue to the convention and pull off a come-from-behind victory akin to the Final Four.

“I think we keep campaigning,” Gingrich said, despite a performance that shows him severely trailing in the delegate count.

He cited the University of Kansas’s Saturday night comeback win over Ohio State after a 13-point deficit in the NCAA Final Four semifinals. “I’m going to take Kansas as a model,” he said on CBS's Face the Nation.

Gingrich also pledged to “absolutely” support Mitt Romney, or whomever wins the nomination, when the Republican race has ended, despite his occasionally harsh criticism of Romney on the trail.
