A U-Haul truck that contained equipment for a scheduled Monday event featuring Vice President Joe Biden was stolen in Detroit on Sunday, CNN reported.

The truck was stolen from a Westin Hotel, spokesman Ed Donovan told CNN, but he did not specify what was in the truck. Donovan said the theft probably wouldn't affect Biden’s plans.

Biden will be speaking at a rally in Detroit on Monday and will later march in a parade sponsored by the Michigan AFL-CIO.
