Cain Says He'll Support Romney

April 10, 2012

Former presidential candidate Herman Cain said on Tuesday that he will support Mitt Romney for president, despite his endorsement of Newt Gingrich earlier this year.

"The numbers are on Mitt Romney's side and yes, I have always said I will support whoever the nominee is, and it looks like Mitt Romney's going to be the nominee and we do need to get behind him," Cain said on Fox News's America's Newsroom. "Yes, I'm ready to get behind the nominee."

Cain endorsed Gingrich for president back in January.
