With the GOP primary in Arizona just two days away, Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer threw her support behind Mitt Romney, who is leading the polls in her state.

Speaking on NBC's Meet the Press, Brewer said that Romney was "the man that can carry the day."

"He handles himself very very well," she said. "But more than that he has that pro-business background."

Brewer's endorsement follows other prominent voices in the state who have backed Romney. The Arizona Republic, a large newspaper, and Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., have also endorsed the former Massachusetts governor.

"I think Mitt is by far the person who can go in and win,” Brewer said.
