VIDEO: Gabby Giffords Leads the DNC in the Pledge of Allegiance

With the support of long time friend Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., former Rep. Gabby Giffords, D-Ariz., led the Democratic National Convention in a very emotional and inspirational rendition of Pledge of Allegiance on Thursday night.

Giffords, was shot in the head during a spree by a lone gunman in a supermarket parking lot in Tuscon, Ariz., on Jan. 8, 2011, that killed six and wounding 12 others. She resigned her House seat earlier this year to continue her recovery.
