Mitt Romney will fly to Tampa on Tuesday, the day delegates to the Republican National Convention are scheduled to nominate him as their presidential candidate and his wife, Ann, is slated to address the convention.
Romney and his wife practiced their speeches together throughout the weekend at a school near their lake house in Wolfeboro, N.H.
Convention plans have been in flux due to severe weather. Tampa has escaped the brunt of Tropical Storm Isaac and Romney currently is scheduled to give his acceptance speech on Thursday night.
But organizers are keeping their options open as Isaac builds to an expected Category 2 hurricane headed toward New Orleans.
Romney has a campaign stop planned Wednesday in Indiana.
