President Obama received an unexpected surprise during a fundraiser in Boston on Monday.
Turns out that the Red Sox fans in the audience did not appreciate the president's joke thanking the team for trading infielder Kevin Youkilis, a Red Sox since 2001 and a two-time World Series champion on June 24--the day before his speech--to his beloved Chicago White Sox.
"I didn't think I'd get any boos out of here. I guess I should not have brought up baseball," Obama said. "My mistake, I understand. My mistake, you got to know your crowd."
