O’Malley To Speak in Primetime

Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, an Obama surrogate who is often mentioned as a possible presidential candidate in 2016, got a primetime speaking slot at the convention in the same hour as First Lady Michelle Obama.

O’Malley has been in the news lately as a pivotal figure in the skirmishes over whether Americans are better off than they were four years ago. Asked the question on Sunday, O’Malley actually said no. But on Monday, he came back and said yes.
