Cruz, Walker Announced as GOP Convention Speakers

Five additional speakers were announced on Wednesday for the Republican National Convention, including Texas Republican Senate nominee Ted Cruz and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker.

Georgia Attorney General Sam Olens, Puerto Rico Gov. Luis Fortuño and Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi were also named.

Earlier this week, the Republican National Committee announced that other main speakers would include former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, former Sen. Rick Santorum and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.

Florida Gov. Rick Scott, Sen. John McCain, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, and South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley are also scheduled to speak.

The Republican convention will take place in Tampa at the end of this month.
